The books should be shipped to you in early November. The reason it takes so long, is that once I put in the files with the printer it takes 6 – 8 weeks for them to print them and then send them back to me. Then I have to send them to you. But the good thing is that you will have them in good time for Christmas.

And one thing. I am literally going to print whatever the amount is order (with maybe 10 of each book for the Dublin Con in December) but that’s it. So if you want a signed edition and aren’t going to the Dublin City Comic Con 2010 then this is your only chance. After this the books will be available for indyplanet but as that’s a POD service, there will be no option to get it signed.

Something Wonderful was universally loved by Twitter and Hated by Reddit. But none of that mattered to Something Wonderful, it hated both with equal contempt. SW is probably my most out spoke work to date. It was a perfect avenue for me to poke fun at some of the more established Holy Cows of our modern world, including some of my own beliefs. It’s all in good fun, but I did managed to annoy a lot of Fundamental Atheists and Mac Users along the way.

This is a greatest hits collection, all the strips are FULL COLOUR and reformatted to look fucking excellent in this collection. I am so happy with how this comic ended up. It started as a throw away comic for me, a thing to warm up with in the morning, but quickly turned into my most successful effort to date. Some of my best art is in this collection.

A word about the pricing:

Just to fill you in on the cost involved so that you don’t think I am trying to ripp you off. Paypal alone can take nealy €1.50 or so, the cost of postage is about €3 to €5 depending on where you live and the print costs are about €6 to €8 per book, so I am only making a couple of quid on each book. So although the price might seem expensive but it’s the minimum I can afford to sell them at, giving such small print runs. Hope you understand.

Down is the new print comic by TOMMIE KELLY creator of Something Wonderful, Road Crew and From Rags to Rockstars. It launches later in the year but in the meantime a number of teaser webcomics will be posted on Kelly’s main site TommieKelly.com

Kelly is spending the next Month pulling all his comics from across the web and placing them in their new home at Tommiekelly.com It will become the centre of the universe for all thing’s Kelly. Both SOMETHING WONDERFUL and ROAD CREW will be available for the first time in a reformatted style that should make it easier for the reader to quickly get through the archives will as few clicks as possible, making the comic reading experience much more enjoyable and natural than before.
